Taupo Golf Club Opening Day is Here! 

We have a fantastic day planned to celebrate Opening Day at Taupo Golf Club!

If you haven’t seen it on social media, I’m excited to announce that young gun Wilson Simmonds will be my partner for the day! Centennial is now fully booked, with the late entry of Aces Jason McIntosh & Ricky Mallasch securing one of the last spots.

Challenge the Pros! 
To win back double your entry fee, you’ll need to beat Wilson and my nett score on Centennial, or if you're playing Tauhara, you’ll need to beat our PGA Painters Duo – Grant Fisher & Les Huntley. A huge thanks to them for leading the way and making this day special!

There are limited spots still available on Tauhara, so be sure to book online or in the pro shop if you haven't already.

Tauhara Course:

• Check-in: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM in the Pro Shop
• Cards: Pre-printed and ready for collection
• Payment:
  • Cash – Side counter
  • EFTPOS – Main counter
• Cost: $20 per person
• Check-in Process: Please pay for two players at once to reduce congestion and collect your team card.
• Opening Announcement: 9:40 AM at the Tauhara putting green

On-Course Challenges

We have two NTP (Nearest to Pin) competitions – one for Men and one for Ladies on each course over 2 par 3's. Good luck!

After the Round

Scorecards:

• Please enter your team scores at the Kiosks and hand in your card at the golf shop.

Food:

• Enjoy a delicious ham & bun from Ali’s team—included in your entry fee, even if you beat the pros!

Complimentary First Drink!

• Your first drink is on us! Head upstairs after the round and enjoy a well-earned refreshment.

Raffles Available!

• Stick around after your round for raffles and prizes run by Carolyn Taylor—another great way to celebrate the day!

Presentation Ceremony:

• Hosted by General Manager Cliff Morgan & President Craig Orr
• Time: 4:30 PM at the Centennial Clubhouse
• Play is scheduled to finish by 4:00 PM, so stick around for the celebrations!
